A Message from the President

Friends,

Most people assume AFA’s “busy seasons” bracket our two major conferences, but what I’ve learned in my first year as AFA President & CEO is that’s not true. Fact is, we are ALWAYS busy.

It’s only been a few weeks since we held the AFA Warfare Symposium in Denver, and we’re already well into planning for our Air, Space & Cyber Conference at National Harbor in September. In this brief time we’ve also hosted CSO Gen. B. Chance Saltzman for a live studio event, crowned the national champions of CyberPatriot’s 17th season (which was absolutely amazing), and set the stage for our traditional toast to the Doolittle Raiders (you can join us!); and so much more.

And it’s not just the AFA staff that are working hard—our Chapters are also crushing it across the nation. Read below about all the ways they are supporting our Air Force, Space Force, Airmen, Guardians, and Families.

Our mission has never been more important and we are using that mission as the guiding light to keep us focused on what needs our attention. We’re here to help, with factual reporting in Air & Space Forces Magazine and the Daily Report, with scholarly analysis and thoughtful advocacy. Together, we can make a difference for our Air Force, Space Force, Airmen, Guardians, and Families!
