A Message from the President

May 30, 2025

Friends,

In the military, May is a month of remembrance. Since 1999, May has officially been Military Spouse Appreciation month, an occasion to honor the millions of spouses who are giving (and gave) their all by standing behind their Airmen, Guardians, and other servicemembers. And since 1868, May has offered us a Memorial Day dedicated to those uniformed heroes who have sacrificed their lives in the name of American freedom.

May is ending, but our appreciation and gratitude for your service is enduring. To Airmen, Guardians, and spouses everywhere—both living and passed—AFA salutes your sacrifices, support, and years of service.
